Annual LBI Surf Fishing Tournament

The 54th Annual LBI Surfishing Tournament started Sunday, October 11, 2008 and ran until Sunday, November 23, 2008 on the beaches of LBI. Prizes for bluefish, striped bass were awarded. Find out the rules, register for this year and check on the winners Don't miss it next year..

36th Annual LBI Commemorative 18 Mile Run
Began Sunday, October 12, 2008, 10:30am. The race commemorates the 11 Israeli athletes slain at the 1972 Munich Olympics and the thousands who lost their lives in America on September 11, 2001. Call the St. Francis Community Center at (609) 494-8861 for information about registering to run next year..
